canaryislands.com.es is free to read and carries no third-party advertising. It is paid for by affiliate commissions: when you book a tour or a ticket through our links, the platform pays us a percentage of the sale.
Who we work with
Our partners are two platforms:
- GetYourGuide, our main partner, for tours, boat trips, activities and tickets.
- Tiqets, for tickets to parks, museums and attractions.
On some pages we also link to Headout: a booking made through that link may also earn us a commission. We have no commercial agreement with anyone else. When we link to Viator, Civitatis, a ferry line or a park's official website, it's an ordinary link and we earn nothing.
How the links work
The buttons, tour cards and booking links go through an address on this website that starts with /go/. That address immediately redirects you to the listing on GetYourGuide, Tiqets or Headout with our partner code, so the platform knows you came from here. The booking, the payment and your details stay with the platform.
The calendars with dates and availability that you see on some pages belong to GetYourGuide and Tiqets. They only load if you choose "Always load them" or press "See dates and availability"; we explain this in our cookie policy.
You pay the same
The commission comes out of the platform's margin, not your pocket. The price is the same as if you went straight to their website.
When the official website of a park, ferry line or museum sells for less than the platforms, we say so on the page and link to the official website, even though that way we earn nothing.
Our reviews are independent
No company pays to be listed, to appear first or for a good score. We assess the platforms that pay us by the same standard as everyone else, and point out their weak spots: cancellations, prices above the ticket office, non-refundable products. We are not an official website
canaryislands.com.es is not the official website of any public body, island council (cabildo), national park, museum or tour operator, and does not speak on their behalf. The names and trademarks that appear belong to their owners and are mentioned for information. For official information, we always link to the source.
